Job Summary:
Performs assigned direct care activities and basic nursing procedures in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assists nursing staff in assessing the client’s physical and mental condition according to policies and procedures
• Assists with patient’s feeding (this may include tube feeding), personal hygiene and grooming functions as necessary
• Turns and re-positions bedridden clients, with assistance, to prevent and/or promote the healing of pressure sores
• Completes required documentation in patient and unit records.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant AND One year of experience at the lower level Nursing Asst 1 (HCS050) or position equivalent.
