Job Summary:
Supervises and provides clinical guidance to nurses and nursing staff working with inpatients assigned on Day shift. Work with the Treatment plans to improve mental and physical health of client.

Job Description:
• Manages, plans, organizes, and directs all nursing activities in assigned facility.
• Directs subordinate supervisors and staff.
• Reviews state, federal, and other regulatory standards information in order to direct the quality improvement activities and achieve compliance.
• Provides staff development including orientation, in-service training, workshops and continuing education for all levels of nursing staff.
• Oversees the collection of data for statistical records.
• Organizes and plans a systematic and continuous quality/performance improvement program for the practice of nursing.
• Evaluates nursing standards and nurse protocols for all nursing programs. Develops staffing patterns.
• Develops policies, sets standards and plans objectives for the nursing program in accordance with established policies.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Two or more years in a managerial/supervisory of leadership role.

• Current Georgia License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
• Two Years supervisory experience
• Bachelor of Nursing Degree
