Fleet/Motor Pool Spec Supervisor – Augusta
Augusta, GAJob Summary:
Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. – Oversees all facets of an agency/institution motor pool. – Coordinates the assignment, maintenance and replacement of vehicles in a fleet program.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assures that routine maintenance and safety checks are performed.
• Coordinates the scheduling to serve the needs of the agency.
• Dispatches vehicles and responds to questions concerning policies and procedures.
• Ensures the receiving and dispersal of new equipment, the removal of surplus equipment and transfer of vehicles within agency guidelines.
• Maintains fleet program records and vehicle records relating to maintenance, operation and costs.
• Supervises and plans the work of assigned staff
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience in the area of assignment, which includes one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Fleet/Motor Pool Spec 3 (FET052) or position equivalent.
