Health Aide Supervisor Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta

Job Responsibilities

Supervises, guides, and instructs Health Aides and other assigned direct-care staff.
Plans and assigns daily work assignments and ensures adequate staffing coverage.
Monitors staff performance and provides training, coaching, and corrective guidance.
Ensure individuals receive appropriate assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
Observes individuals for changes in behavior, physical condition, or emotional status and reports concerns to nursing or clinical staff.
Ensures treatment plans, behavioral-support plans, and individualized service plans are properly implemented.
Reviews staff documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
Maintains a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
Ensures staff complete required safety checks, rounds, and incident reports.
Responds to emergencies, behavioral incidents, and crisis situations.
Assists with employee training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and attendance monitoring.
Promotes the dignity, privacy, independence, and rights of individuals receiving services.
Ensures compliance with DBHDD policies, infection-control standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
Performs direct-care duties when necessary and completes other assignments as directed.
