Job Description:

Serves as the customer service contact and subject matter expert to providers, individuals, families, partner agencies and DBHDD staff regarding billing and approval processes for Medicaid waiver and DBHDD state funded services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Authorizes services including Individual Support Plan and version change approvals through IDD Connects and the IDD Information System

Monitors service utilization and processing of state funds allocations and reviews reports from state funded providers.

Gathers, compiles, and analyzes fiscal and service utilization data.

Researches and responds to internal and external inquiries concerning spending and utilization trends, program issues, billing problems, rules and regulations.
