Job Summary:
Under supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision making in functional area.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serves as the customer service contact and subject matter expert to providers, individuals, families, partner agencies and DBHDD staff regarding billing and approval processes for Medicaid waiver and DBHDD state funded services.
• Authorizes services including Individual Support Plan and version change approvals through IDD Connects and the IDD Information System
• Monitors service utilization and processing of state funds allocations and reviews reports from state funded providers.
• Gathers, compiles and analyzes fiscal and service utilization data
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of experience related to area of assignment. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate and write clearly
• Proficient with Microsoft WORD and EXCEL (excellent skills managing a database)
• Experience working with IDDIS and/or IDD Connects
