Job Summary:
Under general supervision, enters and processes personnel and payroll transactions. Compiles and files employment reports. Searches files and furnishes information to authorize persons. May serve as a lead worker.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary contact for Kronos system management, issues and concerns for Georgia Regional Hospital and Regions One and Three
• Process and enter payroll/position transactions, docks and adjustments, termination actions and information, and enrollments by established deadlines
• Reconcile and resolve payroll issues, errors and discrepancies as necessary prior to deadlines
• Review, develop and implement efficient work processes for accurate and effective handling and processing of payroll and position actions
• Comply with and ensure all Payroll deadlines are met
• Run and complete Payroll and HR related reports, queries and genies
• Answer questions from employees or management regarding personnel and payroll transactions Process/maintain leave records and information (as backup)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience performing human resources job-related functions; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Tech 1 (HRT010) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Payroll, Kronos, and HRIS systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
