Phlebotomist (Part Time)

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, assists technicians and laboratory scientists with data or specimen collection and laboratory procedures.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Uses computers, computer-interfaced equipment, robotics and high technology industrial applications to perform work duties.
• Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Receives and logs samples into laboratory information systems.
• Prepares samples or specimens for testing. Follows and/or ensures compliance with set standards. Conducts or may assist with standardized tests and laboratory analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least one-year phlebotomy experience performing venipuncture, specimen processing and data entry.
• 1 Year experience working with mental health individuals.
• Proficient in computer and math skills.
