Job Description:

Under the supervision of a licensed forensic psychologist, providing clinical and forensic psychological services to an inpatient program of 3 forensic units totaling 116 beds (male and female), an outpatient pre-trial referral program, and a conditional release program for persons acquitted as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct court-ordered evaluations and expert testimony to State, Superior and Juvenile courts, as needed, regarding opinions of competency to stand trial and degree of criminal responsibility (i.e., sanity);
Supervises assigned inpatient clinical staff, as able and needed;
Conduct violence risk assessments and other clinical or forensic psychological evaluations;
Provide group and/or individual psychotherapy with forensic inpatients or outpatients, as needed; and,
Other clinical/forensic psychological services as able and needed.
