Job Description:

In conjunction with a comprehensive treatment team the Psychiatrist addresses the clinical needs of Adult and Forensic consumers and provide emergent assessment and treatment to patients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Leading a multidisciplinary team that provides inpatient stabilization to individuals referred from the surrounding courts for competency restoration.
Forensically trained psychiatrist may also participate in competency evaluations and court testimony as needed (Caseload and length of stay vary by hospital so ask for more information about the location you are interested in.
