Registered Nurse – 2nd Shift

Savannah, GA

Job Summary:
Registered Nurses provides skilled nursing care to clients across the health spectrum, including those with acute illnesses, injuries, chronic conditions, and disabilities. Performs as a vital partner with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess client needs, develop comprehensive care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Accurately administers prescribed medications and initiates intravenous therapies
• Conducts thorough health assessments to identify client problems and needs, formulating and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
• Makes daily resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and to implement any required nursing interventions.
• Responds to resident and family concerns and ensures that each concern is documented, and a resolution is initiated or communicated to appropriate staff.
• Serves as a shift leader and a resource to other staff on the unit.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND any related professional work experience.

Preferred Qualifications Include:
• Experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
