Job Description:

Assess client health problems and needs, address current and immediate.
Complete vital signs and document.
Review and determine the immediate needs i.e. current medications and treatments.
Evaluate and notify doctor/Psychiatrist for evaluation and implementation of obtain of orders.
Administer medications as needed.
Administer nursing care to patients as needed or required.
May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention and refer to Social Service within the Admission are as needed.
Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

Administers prescribed medications and notes times and amounts on clients’ charts Maintains accurate, detailed reports and client records Monitors all aspects of client care, including diet. Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in clients’ conditions Prepares clients for, and assists with, examinations and treatments Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and ensures that stock of supplies is maintained Provides education to client Provides health care, first aid.
