Job Summary:
Registered Nurses provide skilled nursing care to clients across the health spectrum, including those with acute illnesses, injuries, chronic conditions, and disabilities. Performs as a vital partner with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess client needs, develop comprehensive care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
? Accurately administers prescribed medications and initiates intravenous therapies
? Conducts thorough health assessments to identify client problems and needs, formulating and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
? Makes daily resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and to implement any required nursing interventions.
? Responds to resident and family concerns and ensures that each concern is documented, and a resolution is initiated or communicated to appropriate staff.
? Serves as a shift leader and a resource to other staff on the unit.
